CAMI CUESTA
Cami Cuesta is an MC, Actress, Puppeteer and part of the group “La Fuerza Rap del Otro”. Together with the musicians Ramonomar and Fso form the group that bears her name. “Cami Cuesta” presents itself as an experimental band that fuses poetry, rap, turntablism and instrumentals with dark sounds, including elements of jazz, trip hop and electronic music.
The MC’s personal and complex verses combine different speeds, forms of interpretation and atypical metrics, installing their own style in a generation of rappers and composers who have renewed the local Hip Hop scene in Chile. The instrumentals produced by Ramonomar defend an innovative and experimental character that, together with the turntables and sounds performed by Fso, give life to an immersive sound journey, transforming this trio into a benchmark of Alternative Rap´.
